Hedgerow Communion happens by an unsuspecting hedge, in nature, with the Trinity and the non-human community; it involves yoga, meditation, sharing bread and wine, silence, poetry and ritual.

The Golden Valley Pilgrim Way is a stunning 6/7 day circular pilgrimage route along beautiful and ancient paths that begins and ends at Hereford Cathedral. The trail links the Wye Valley with the Golden Valley and the flower meadows and foothills of the Black Mountains. Once you leave the city and the Cathedral behind, this is a rich and silent land, good for the body as well as the soul.
Approximately 60 miles long you will come across apple orchards, sacred sites, ruined castles, holy wells and Arthurian legends as well as hidden farms that produce local ciders and ice cream. There is a real contrast between gentle wooded river valleys and stunning views of mountain landscapes with one or two spots for wild swimming.

The Golden Valley Pilgrim Way is a circular walking route, through the Golden Valley in Hereford Diocese, for people in search of a spiritual element to walking, using landscape, churches and other sacred sites as a foci for reflection and rest.

Join us on the second Tuesday afternoon of the month for our Agape meal.

The Greek word “agape”; as used in the New Testament, describes the love of God for humans, as well as the human, reciprocal, love for God.

In scripture, agape love is described as the highest form of love.

In John 3:16, a verse that is often described as a summary of the Gospel message, agape is the word used for the love that moved God to send his only son for the world’s healing and redemption. The term extends to the love of one’s fellow humans, as the reciprocal love between God and humans is expressed in one’s love of all of creation.

The early church used “agape”; to
describe a meal of love and fellowship, using bread and wine, to which all were invited.

This invitation is now given to you.
