Revd Bill's last Sunday service

Occurring
for 1 hour
Venue
Leighton: Holy Trinity
Address
Leighton, Welshpool, Powys, SY21 8HL, SY21 8HL, United Kingdom

Bill retires on 31st January. His last Sunday service, on 26th January, replaces the normal morning worship at Marton and Leighton, and is a service for the whole group, with the Benefice Choir.

Trelystan: St Mary the Virgin

The only remaining timber-framed church in Wales, high up on the Long Mountain, with only scattered houses and farms around it. This has been a holy place for untold generations, and, within the shell provided by a Victorian rebuild, the timbers and wattle and daub of the Medieval building still survive. The church is open each day between 10 am and 5 pm.

The parish of Trelystan is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer or PSO.

Chris Jerman, 07769 808037 or chrisjerman@yahoo.co.uk

Kay Yeates, 01938 561640 or km_yeates@yahoo.co.uk

The Diocese of Hereford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs.

If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adult Services.
