100 Club

Dear Member of our Community and our Parish

St Lawrence church has been a part of our community for many hundreds of years. Many of us now use it as a landmark, make regular use of its big clock on the tower to keep track of our time, enjoy it as part of the local landscape, or use its car park when going for a walk in the vicinity. People who have ties with the church, whether living locally or further afield, use the church for family events such as weddings, baptisms and funerals. Many people request to be buried in St Lawrence church graveyard and make regular visits to the church to tend to the graves of their loved ones.

In order to maintain the church, its graveyard and grounds, we need ongoing funds to pay for its upkeep. Fund raising is a necessary activity for our church. The Stretton Grandison PCC (Parochial Church Council) 100 Club has been part of the fund raising for our church since 1998. It has raised much needed funds for the church to date and gives cash prizes for many people in our community.

The 100 Club is open to all parishioners and friends of St Lawrence church. You can join for £12.00 per person per year. 50% of monies received are used as prizes and 50% is used for maintenance and improvements to our church grounds. Three prizes are drawn each month and in December there is a special larger amount for 1st prize.

To be in line for a winning chance for a cash prize, and to make a difference to the church, please complete the application form, which is in a folder inside the church.
