The John Moore Quire are a group of West Gallery singers and musicians. The concert will combine music and song together with some historical and anecdotal material from 1720 to 1850, a time when many churches had no organs.As our organ is currently being restored we thought this was a rather apt way to raise some funds to go towards its repair.The concert will be followed by a Pimms Afternoon Tea.ENTRY is FREE . Donations will be gratefully received towards our organ restoration fund.
Work is being carried out to restore the organ and the floor where it usually stands. Whilst this is taking place we are closing the church to visitors. We will be holding our usual 11.15am service on Sunday 26th April and then their will be no further services until mid May. Please look out for updates.The restoration work is costing over £8,000. We have managed to secure half of this amount with grants and very kind donations.
