The splendid exhibition of wedding dresses held in the church was our big fundraising event for 2018.  Dresses were very kindly loaned by local families; several of them by ladies who had worn them for their weddings in St. Giles.  Others were lent by the Edwards sisters of Poyner's, the local drapers, who also staged the whole event for us.  It has been a very successful event, attracting many visitors - it was even of interest to the gentlemen!
