On Saturday 11th November at 11am over 40 members of the community gathered at the war memorial to remember those who gave their lives in two world wars and conflicts since. Wreaths were leaid on behalf of Hope church and the Lord Lieutenant of Shropshire.  It was a fine sunny day, and we thought of those who walked the same lanes, farmed the same fields, and saw the same views as we do, and how so many went to war and did not return. We are thankful for their sacrifice to protect the freedoms which we enjoy. We will remember them.
