Our Hoarwithy; Stories Past and Present:
10.45 to lunch time – Saturday October 19th

Join us for a morning of story gathering!
We’ll kick off with a talk at 11am by Julia Letts, a former BBC radio producer who has been recording stories in Herefordshire and Worcestershire for 25 years.

After the talk, we hope you’ll share your experiences and photos of Hoarwithy past and present. Please bring something special with you... an old toy, a kitchen utensil, a farm tool, a recipe, an old photo, a newspaper cutting... anything that brings back an important memory. It doesn’t matter if you’re young or old, or have lived here all your life or only arrived last week!

Spread the word, come and meet old and new friends, eat some cake and learn something you never knew!

St. Catherine's Hoarwithy

Welcome to our unique church which was completed in 1843 and then beautified by  Prebendary William Poole between mid 1870s and 1902 into its present Italian (Romanesque) style and was dedicated to St. Catherine on  23 February 1904.  We normally have Holy Communion on the 3rd Sunday of the Month although this varies particularly for Easter and Christmas. Look at our What's on page for other events.
