If you've ever wanted to try your hand at wood turning, or practice paper marbling, please come along to our Creative Skills Taster Day on Saturday 28th September at St Catherine's Church. Make a clay tealight holder, weave a beautiful willow swallow or be informally introduced to the art of calligraphy! Have a go at any (or all) of the skills on offer, supported by local, professional craftspeople. Bring a picnic and make a day of it? (Fingers crossed for good weather!)

Everyone is welcome; children should be accompanied by an adult. This is a free event; however, donations to the Hoarwithy Vision Project Fund would be greatly appreciated.
If you have any questions, please email [email protected].

St. Catherine's Hoarwithy

Welcome to our unique church which was completed in 1843 and then beautified by  Prebendary William Poole between mid 1870s and 1902 into its present Italian (Romanesque) style and was dedicated to St. Catherine on  23 February 1904.  We normally have Holy Communion on the 3rd Sunday of the Month although this varies particularly for Easter and Christmas. Look at our What's on page for other events.
