St. Catherine's Hoarwithy

Welcome to our unique church which was completed in 1843 and then beautified by  Prebendary William Poole between mid 1870s and 1902 into its present Italian (Romanesque) style and was dedicated to St. Catherine on  23 February 1904.  We normally have Holy Communion on the 3rd Sunday of the Month although this varies particularly for Easter and Christmas. Look at our What's on page for other events.

Safeguarding

"Our parish of Hentland w Hoarwithy is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO) Mrs Valery Lilwall. Our Diocese of Hereford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor Carl Steventon who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor . If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services."
