Church Graveyard Update
We are currently undergoing a process of change at St. Martin's, as our gardener had to retire suddenly. He did a wonderful job, and kept the graveyard and grounds looking immaculate for many years. We were very fortunate to have him, as many graveyards are not maintained to such a high standard.
Our new gardener has started, and is doing a great job at catching up with the mowing and strimming, section by section. This, however, will take a while, as the graveyard is vast.
Please be patient with us.
Some people have chosen to strim/mow their relatives graves in the meantime, which you are very welcome to do. We are also very grateful to receive donations towards the upkeep of the grounds.
The area near the front of the church has been intentionally left unmowed over the summer to encourage insects and wildlife, but will be cut in the coming weeks.
Once again, we ask for your patience and understanding in this matter.
