To mark the 80th anniversary of D-Day, on Thursday June 6th, we will have a very short service in Billingsley Church at 6pm; I will ring the bells and say some prayers. It will take no more than 5 minutes, at least if I am the only one in church. Anyone is welcome to join me if they wish, even if it is to simply sit in silence. Of course, the church will also be open all day for those who simply want a quiet place to sit and reflect

Glazeley & Deuxhill: St Bartholomew

Welcome to Glazeley Church! We serve the small communities of Glazeley, Deuxhill and Eudon Burnell as well as welcoming those from further afield. We work closely with our neighbouring churches to be the people of God in these places.  We currently have a Holy Communion service on the 3rd Sunday of the month at 10am; we also play host to "Forest Church" (outdoor worship) from time to time and organise a number of social events, particularly breakfasts at the Down Inn, on a Saturday morning, about once a month.

Our rector is the Rev Kina Robertshaw, who joined us in April 2023. Kina's website is here: Kina Robertshaw, co-author of A Voice to Be Heard: Christian Entrepreneurs Living Out Their Faith

Safeguarding

Our parish of Glazeley & Deuxhill is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Hereford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO [Rev David Poyner] or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor [Mandy McPhee]. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services
