Harvest Service, tea and Charity Auction of Produce

Occuring
for 2 hours, 30 mins
Venue
St John's Doddington - The Church on the Hill
Address
Doddington Shropshire, DY14 0HL, United Kingdom

Join us for our annual Harvest Service - a time to think about all the good things God gives us, followed by a traditional Harvest Tea with a fun Auction of Produce where the proceeds go to charity. We'll be decorating the church on Saturday 2nd in the morning; you can bring along flowers or produce then and stay to help if you like (we're a friendly bunch!), or bring your produce to the service. At the end of the service, we'll have our tea and Auction of produce (4pm-ish at the Village Hall) with money raised donated to charity. (Sneeze in the wrong place and you end up with 3 fruit pies, a bunch of parsnips and more green beans than you can shake a stick at. Tony “The Gavel” Breeze takes no prisoners. But the pies are just lovely!).

St John's, known for its cheerful welcome, sits high on the shoulder of Titterstone Clee Hill. Thank you for visiting our page. We run regular events to bring the community together, with services twice a month. Read more about those, along with the history of the church and our plans for improving it for the future elsewhere on our ACNY pages.
