Hot on the heels of the the schoolchildren's visit yesterday, today was the turn of a hedge-planting party from CPRE Shropshire and Caring for God's Acre. To help improve the habitat for wildlife, and make our churchyard a little more tidy and green, 3 sections of hedging have been planted. They are just saplings at the moment, but in time, we will have some low hedges by the front wall, and a long stretch across the back of the churchyard separating the wild area and the graves. Thank you to all involved in the working party and to The Woodland Trust and CPRE Shropshire for the donation of saplings.
