We invite you to join with Archdeacon Fiona and the congregation of St John's Doddington to celebrate the inauguration of the newly accessible path on Sunday 1st May. This will mark the first stage of opening up the church for all kinds of community use as well as the worshipping centre of the Parish. This is a time to recognise and be thankful for the effort and hard work that has gone in to making this a reality. It is truly a light set on the hill. The service starts at 3pm followed by refreshments. We owe a great debt of thanks to Garfield Weston Foundation whose grant allowed us to start work on this, as well as to Church Walking Pilgrimages for a grant, and to the community, including Doddington Lodge, who have helped us fundraise a proportion of the cost.
