Advent Sunday - Holy Communion

Advent Sunday is the first day of the liturgical year and the start of the season of Advent. Its a time when Christians prepare themselves for the coming Christ. Lots of lovely music, decorations and a great atmosphere. Refreshments served afterwards.

Ale House Festivities

A relaxed evening of sing-a-long carols, religious and secular readings, mulled wine and mince pies. Admission £6 including refreshments.

Candlelit Village Carol Service

Traditional carol service with religious and secular music and readings led by members of the village community.

Christingle

for 1 hour

Christingle celebrations are named after the Christingles that are lit during the ceremony. Christingles are oranges wrapped in red tape, decorated with dried fruit or sweets, with a candle on the top. This is always a popular service to please arrive early and park sensibly!
