Billingsley: St Mary

Welcome to St Mary's Church, Billingsley.  We serve the small community of Billingsley as well as welcoming those from further afield. We work closely with our neighbouring churches to be the people of God in these places. We currently have a Holy Communion service on the 4th Sunday of the month at 8 am, and, from April to October, a 6pm evening service on the 2nd Sunday of the month. We also play host to "Forest Church" (outdoor worship) from time to time and organise a number of social events, particularly evening walks during the lighter months as well as seasonal service such as carols at Christmas.

Our rector is the Rev Kina Robertshaw, who joined us in April 2023. Kina's website is here: Kina Robertshaw, co-author of A Voice to Be Heard: Christian Entrepreneurs Living Out Their Faith

Safeguarding

Our parish of Billingsley is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Hereford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO [David Poyner] or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor [Mandy McPhee]. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
