On Thursday we were lucky enough to have a visit from a working party from Caring For God’s Acre.

In exchange for a donation, this locally based charity provide us with advice and support in the management of our churchyard for the benefit of the wildlife.

6 volunteers and a coordinator spent from 10am until 3pm clearing the areas we had left to grow for wildlife and they also had time to clear the French Drain and do some pruning! 

We provided tea and cake as we usually do.

We look forward to them helping us with some winter maintenance too.
