Join us as the light fades on Holy Saturday as we keep vigil, waiting to light the first fire of Easter and celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Bringing the newly kindled paschal (Easter) candle into the church is followed by our first Easter Communion. All are most welcome, refreshments will be served afterward.

Amberley Chapel

Located near Amberley Court in the parish of Marden, we meet once a month on the fourth Sunday of the month for worship at 9.30am.  With views over gentle rolling Herefordshire fields, we invite you to rest a while and meet God in creation and fellowship.

For all enquiries, please contact [email protected] or phone 01568 797863.

The parish of Marden with Amberley is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Hereford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
