An illustrated talk by Edward Parry on his book about exploring North Wales between 1810 - 1860 with the Reverend John Parker. This will be a fascinating look at Snowdonia in Parker's own words complimented by his paintings.
Rev. John Parker was the brother of notable water colourist Mary Parker, wife of Sir Baldwyn Leighton. His home was Sweeney Hall and he was Vicar of both Llanmyrewig and Llanyblodwel Churches, both of which he was responsible for remodelling. It is hoped that the Leighton Family will display some of Mary Parker's works to help illustrate the talents of the Parker family and their close links.
Edward Parry's books will also be available to buy.
Tickets £7.50 to include refreshments and there will be a raffle.
