COVID precautions in Church
Plan B is to be relaxed in stages. This means that from last Thursday face coverings are no longer be required by law to be worn in churches. However, the updated government guideline states “you should continue to wear a face covering in crowded and indoor spaces where you may come into contact with people you do not normally meet”. The Diocese advice is “ face coverings should continue to be worn in our churches (However, of course, this cannot be imposed on individuals who choose not to do so)”.
The use of the available hand sanitizers both on entering and leaving the building is also strongly recommended as is the circulation of fresh air during any service so the advice is to dress accordingly. The underfloor heating will be on so this should keep your feet warm!! There are sufficient number of chairs out so if families wish to socially distance themselves, this will be possible..
