Oxnead: St Michael & All Angels

Welcome to St. Michael and All Angels Church in the Parish of Buxton with Oxnead. People have worshipped here since the time of Edward the Confessor. It is an exceptionally lovely church which is used for both regular services (as below) and many weddings as Oxnead Hall, a prime wedding reception venue, is next door.

The church as a close association with the Paston Family, many of whom are buried within its walls.

Services:  These are BCP Evensong (or Evening Prayer) and are held from May to October (inclusive) at 6:30pm. All are most welcome to attend.

Safeguarding

The parish of Buxton with Oxnead is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Norwich’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
