Remembrance Service

Occurring
for 1 hour, 15 mins
Venue
Lowestoft: St Andrew
Address
Roman Road Lowestoft, NR32 2DQ, United Kingdom

On this day we remember all who have died in wars and conflict, whether members of the armed services or civilian, friend or foe. We remember those affected by the consequences of war. Most of all we pray for the peace of the Kingdom of God to reign in people's hearts and lives and between nations.

Lowestoft: St Andrew

St. Andrew's is an all age community of people who have discovered the wonderful love of Jesus the Saviour and seek to live and share it in word and action with the community of Roman Hill.

We are a small friendly church housed in a building that serves the needs of Roman Hill, one of the most deprived communities in Suffolk and the UK.

Safeguarding

"Our parish of Lowestoft: St Andrew is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Norwich’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO [Eileen McMurtry (01502) 585192] or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor [Sue Brice Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor, [email protected]]. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services."
