Southburgh St Andrew

You are very welcome to our medieval church of St Andrew in Southburgh. The Church lies on the road at the edge of the village. Parking is available on the road outside the church, and in a nearby field at scheduled services (signposted). In winter bring a torch as there are no street lights. The church has no toilet unfortunately

St Andrew's Church has been the centre of Christian worship, prayer and praise to God for nearly 1000 years. Now part of the Barnham Broom and Upper Yare Team of Parishes, a Group of 13 parishes with 15 churches (Groupof15), we continue to be dedicated to proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ and serving our community.

If you would like to financially help us in our work of service to the community and the upkeep of our medieval church, you can donate through our website www.groupof15.org.uk or give through DONATE at

http://easydonate.org/HYDF014 or

text 70970 HYDF014 to donate £5 or

Fundraising, payments and donations will be processed and administered by the National Funding Scheme (Charity No: 1149800), operating as DONATE. Texts will be charged at your standard network rate. For Terms & Conditions, see www.easydonate.org

Safeguarding

Our parish of St Andrew is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Norwich’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO at [email protected] or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor on 01603 882345 [email protected]. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services
