Thinking about your end of life wishes?

Which options are best for you and your family?

You are invited to come to our ‘Dying Matters’ sessions in St Peter’s hall, Sheringham (attached to the church) on 14th May from 2 - 3:30pm, which will allow you to discuss and share and ask about all aspects of dying and death informally.

Subsequent sessions will be held on the second Wednesday of each month, each with a specific theme. The first will be about the costs of funerals, cremation and burial. Representatives of Blyth and Sons Funeral Directors will be available to enable us to talk informally about the variation in costs, and the differences between the direct cremations you see advertised and the equivalent that are offered by local independent firms.

Chris White, Senior Digital Marketing & Campaign Manager at Hospice UK, said: “Talking about death and dying is never easy, but it’s vital. Honest and timely conversations can ensure that people get the support they need and help loved ones better understand their wishes.

Dying Matters is Hospice UK’s flagship campaign. It aims to create an open culture that talks about death and where people feel able to listen and support people who are planning for end of life, those who are dying and bereaved people.

Hospice UK and Dying Matters believe that everyone, no matter who they are, where they are or why they are ill, should receive the best possible care at the end of their life.
