Our ministry team are happy to take funeral services for everyone who has lived in Sheringham, whether or not they attended church services.
The funeral may be held within the Church building, at the Crematorium, or at the graveside in Sheringham cemetery.
A Church of England service includes prayers and a Bible reading. It has a structure and a flow within which we are happy to weave the personal touches of music, poetry, and a eulogy so vital to help celebrate and give thanks for the life of a loved one.
A funeral is an important stage post on the path of grief.
Do ask the funeral director if you would like the funeral to be led by a member of our team.
The standard fee table is available on the Church of England website.
You are welcome to light a votive candle on the stand in the church building. We are open to visitors daily between 10am and 3pm except for Wednesday mornings.
We are always ready to talk to you about issues around death and dying, and to help you to think things through so that your loved ones will be aware of your wishes when you pass away.
Do send us a message if you would like us to help, or with any enquiry.
