On Remembrance Sunday 2020 the annual service of Remembrance was held outside at the War Memorial in the churchyard.Due to government restrictions to control the spread of Coronavirus the service was held around the War Memorial.34 members of the church and community gathered observing social distancing.The Names of the Men from Overstrand who were killed in the Great War and World War 2 were read.Two minutes silence was observedThe Exhortation and Kohima Epitaph was spoken by local resident and RBL member Eric VickersWreaths were laid from village organisationsThe service was led by Tim BennettOn Armistice Day residents and church members assembled to observe the two minutes silence at the War Memorial.This was followed by a short time of remembrance at the graves of the two German sailors in the Burial Ground'Overstrand Remembers 2020' was seen by over 70 viewers on YouTube. This was made possible with the help of Dersingham Parish Church and produced by Tim Bennett.
Due to the current government restrictions (Coronavirus) all the churches are currently closed for Public Worship
