About Us
The church of St Mary Magdalene in Norwich is described as 'a warm place with open doors'. We are a gathering of people from different backgrounds and experiences, and with many different gifts.
We are brought together by a desire to worship God; to open our doors to and share the journey to faith with the people of this area, and help them respond to the presence of God in their lives; to grow in prayer and service; to meet the needs of local people in co-operation with other local churches; and to live with inclusivity, joy, energy and creativity.
We are half a mile north of Norwich's Anglican cathedral. The church was built in 1903 and has a hall with toilets and a kitchen. A number of groups meet regularly during the week using our facilities, and the hall and other rooms are available to hire for meetings and events.
