The Church of St Mary, Birkin

St. Mary the Virgin is the Parish Church for the Parish of Birkin and Beal.

We are here for the major events of life: Baptism (Christening), Weddings (and Marriage Blessings), and Funerals.

We also offer a regular round of worship and social events, please see the 'Service and  Events' for the details of what is planned for the near future.

Our Church, which was the first in the country to have ground source heating, is open most days for a warm place to have a quiet moment, a cup of coffee, or just to enjoy our beautiful medieval church.  The Church is also available for private use for social gatherings or meetings.

Please join us, you will find us to a small but open and welcoming congregation that accepts people as are as we all try to understand the our lives and world in which we live.
