St Bartholomew's Church Arkendale
Welcome
The church stands at the centre of this small attractive village on an important site, being the highest point in the village and the junction of the two village streets. A religious building has stood here since the 14th Century, although the present building dates only from 1836, but interestingly, it was the first church to be consecrated in the then new Diocese of Ripon, in January 1837.The Church is open daily 10am-5pm and everyone is welcome to visit - please do sign our visitors book.
A warm welcome will be shown to anyone wanting to visit the Church, or if you would like to attend our Church Services. Providing the community with a variety of Sunday services to attend, dependent on your preferred method of worship; from formal Holy Communions and Benefice Communions and village service. -

Welcome to St Thomas' Church, Scotton. We are a small rural parish church which prides itself on its friendly welcome. Our services are on the first and third Sunday's of each month.

Staveley: All Saints
The Parish Church of All Saints Staveley is situated in an elevated position at the Western end of the Village. There has been a Church on this site since the 14th century, the foundation stone for the current building, the third to be built on the site, was laid on 18th April 1851. The Church was built in the English style at a cost of £1,650.19.4d with a chancel, nave and western tower with a clock and three bells. The Church has a number of attractive stained glass windows the most striking being the three panel window in the East wall behind the Altar. This window was designed and made by the celebrated Belgian designer J.B. Capronnier.
Original seating 200 the Church capacity is now 120 to meet current fire and safety regulations and is an attractive setting for weddings, christenings, funerals and other celebrations.
The Church is open for visitors between 10am and 5pm each day please have a look round and sign our visitor book. Everyone is welcome to join us for our Services, Communion on the second Sunday of the month and a Family Service on the fourth Sunday both Services start at 9.30am
