Moorlands Benefice - Upper Esk Valley

The Benefice made up of two parishes and five churches.

There is a service at least one of the churches each Sunday and there is a mid-week Communion service at the Bradbury Centre, Eskmoors Lodge, in Castleton first Wednesday in the month at 11am. Anyone in the community or further afield is welcome to attend

Refreshments are served after each service and we would love to see you there - to share and grow in the love of Christ.

Benefice Holy Communion for CANDLEMAS

Come and join us as we celebrate Candlemas which commemorates the event described in the Gospel of Luke when the infant Jesus was presented at the Temple in Jerusalem by Mary and Joseph, and Mary’s purification according to Mosaic Law. It is also a celebration of Christ as the Light of the world, which is symbolized by the blessing and carrying of candles.
