Carol (at Bilsdale) and Sarah (at Ingleby Greenhow) are transferring from their roles as Recognised Parish Assitants - which they have held for 9 and 10 years respectively - to the new Authorised Lay Ministry roles.  The Diocese of York is aiming to breathe new life into Lay Ministry as part of Living Christ's Story through these changes.  Carol and Sarah will continue to support and serve their parishes and the Benefice.  Their work will be recognised at the Benefice service on July 23rd at Bilsdale.  More information about Lay Ministry within the Diocese can be found here: https://dioceseofyork.org.uk/developing-ministry/the-deepening-discipleship-project/
