Garrowby Churches
The Garrowby Churches are set in the Yorkshire Wolds and consist of five parishes: Bishop Wilton, Bugthorpe, Kirby Underdale, Skirpenbeck and Full Sutton.
We want our churches to be places where the story of Christ is known and lived out, transforming the communities we serve. We try to achieve this in our everyday life: at work, in education, in our neighbourhoods or at leisure but also through our worship, celebrating with family and friends.

Safeguarding
Our Parish is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO details available via the button below or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor [https://www.churchofengland.org/safeguarding/promoting-safer-church-safeguarding]. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
