Fod many years the sanctuary floor has been uneven and with tiles loosening became dangerous.  In 2023 we employed Repair and Restoration of York to investigate the cause.  Luckily this was found to be nothing sinister so in 2024 they relaid the area for tiling.  Isa Celik of Opus Tile Resoration in York retiled the area, using the original tiles.
