Go Deeper this Lent - A Pilgrimage to God and Self. Join Rev Catherine to explore different forms of prayer and meditation and learn from the wisdom of the mystics. Just as the Cistercians used to listen to scripture from the lectern, we will follow in their footsteps, hearing words of wisdom, surrounded by the ancient walls of Beaulieu Abbey Church. These sessions will be intentionally calm, with readings, poetry, music, sounds and prayers, aimed to support us to journey with Christ back to God. Marking the 80th anniversary of the Liberation of Auschwitz, our Lenten Gatherings will include wisdom from Etty Hillesum and Viktor Frankl; as well as Meister Eckhart, St Julian of Norwich and other writers and mystics from across the centuries. Friday 14th March – Words of Wisdom - 7pm – 8pm and Friday 21st March – Sounds of Healing - 7pm – 8pm. All are welcome.
