About Us

Penryn Benefice is a collection of six churches and four parishes located on the edge of the Fal Estuary. St Gluvias in Penryn,  St Peter's Flushing, St Mylor, All Saints at Mylor Bridge, St Laudus Mabe and St Michael and All Angels at Ponsanooth. The area represents one of the most diverse and exciting urban centres in Cornwall with the University, retail, light industry, farming and sea activities all jostling together. We have over 3000 young people across the 5 primary schools, 1 secondary school and the University, and the Deanery has made the care of young people a priority by employing Jane Wheeler our Schools and Family Worker. We also have a Mission Worker Revd Ben Hudd who is also working across the Deanery looking at alternative ways of helping people to express their faith and spirituality. Friendly and welcoming in all our churches and looking to serve our different communities Penryn Benefice is a great place to come.
