Battersea Fields and Nine Elms on the South Bank

The Parish of Battersea Fields is one of the most exciting places in London to live. Battersea Power Station is our iconic building, the US Embassy gives an international focus, New Covent Garden Market retains its vital role serving the London with over 40% of its non-domestic consumed food produce. As host to most of the redevelopment of Nine Elms on the South Bank our parish is changing fast.

Into this mix we have local neighbourhood churches that serve both some of the most traditional areas of Battersea as well as some of the newest areas in London. The churches offer a sense of belonging, friendship and hope.

We would encourage you to enjoy the benefits of the area, the new restaurants, the art, the energy, the fun,  but also to give back - through giving time, energy, creativity and skills to make the lives of all better in this wonderful city. We offer you a personal opportunity to join our parish community not only for your own spiritual benefit and wellbeing, but also to serve others.

Safeguarding

"Our Parish is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO), Joahanna Clarke ([email protected]). Our Diocese’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor . If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services."
