Sandy Lane: St Mary & St Nicholas
"The parish of Bromham, Chittoe & Sandy Lane is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Salisbury’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services."

St Matthews Church, Rowde
Welcome to our Church!
This Grade II* listed building and its churchyard are places of beauty. There has been a church on this site at least from the time of the first recorded Rector in 1326. By 1400 AD the church, dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary, was rebuilt and all that remains of the 15th Century building is the tower. In 1833, the church was re-dedicated to St Matthew. The south and north aisles were added in 1860, and in 1871 a new north porch was added.
Everyone is welcome to all the services and events listed here.
St Matthews is also open every day from 10am to 4pm. Do come and visit us.
