St Nicholas Church , Abbotsbury
St Nicholas Church is open during daylight hours to welcome the weary traveller. Do come in, rest awhile and and enjoy the surroundings of the Grade 1 listed church.
St.Nicholas dates from the late 14thcentury or early 15thcentury and was built as the parish church, alongside the Abbey Church of St Peter. The only remains of the Abbey are a wall to the south of the church, and St Catherine’s chapel about a mile away.
A calendar of services can bee viewed on the site, you are welcome to join us for worship.

St Peter's Langton Herring
You are always welcome here, whether you are just passing through, or locally based. St Peter’s is a small Grade II listed building located in the centre of the picturesque village of Langton Herring, next to the Elm Tree Inn and the Village Hall. There is a sense of the sacred in this quiet, tranquil place for those seeking solitude, to pray, or the opportunity to simply sit quietly for a while. It is only 20 minutes on foot to the Fleet Lagoon behind Chesil Bank - a 17-mile stretch of shingle and a National Nature Reserve, itself a special unique place.
Services are held regularly and alternate each week, from more traditional 'prayer book' communion services and hymns to more informal reflective times, or family praise with worship songs and readings. Feel free to wander around our churchyard too.

Portesham: St Peter
St Peter’s Church, has stood at the centre of the village as a beacon of hope for at least 1000 years. Open during daylight hours it offers a place of sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. The Chancel provides a discreet place for private prayer. When you visit have a wander around the churchyard and look for our unusual grave stone.
Worship is held most Sundays and you are most welcome to join us.
