About Us

The Bride Valley and Chesil Benefice was formed on November 1st 2023. It sits along the banks of the River Bride and behind the Chesil Beach.It is part of the the Lyme Bay Deanery, Sherborne Archdeaconry and Diocese of Salisbury.

The benefice consists of 10 churches and 2 chapels. All churches worship in the traditional way with growing 'fresh Expressions' emerging. Music is an important part of worship. The ministry team at present consists of 2 assosciate priests, 1 PTO, 6 LWL and LPA's.
