St Philip's Community Hub
St Philips Community Hub runs every Thursday 10am-1.30pm.
Who is it for?
Simply put, everybody. It is primarily a place to meet and socialise over a cup of tea and maybe a sneaky cake! You do not have to access anything else if it is not needed.
What's On Offer?
There's tea & coffee, cakes & biscuits and light lunches. There are also games and crafts, and plenty of space to sit and chat.
Are dogs welcome?
Yes!
Is it accessible?
All of the Hub is on the same level with wide doors for access. There are also people around to help if needed.
How much does it cost?
Everything at the Hub is provided free of charge. You would be welcome to give a donation if you wish for the work that we do, but it will not be expected in any way.
What else is happening?
Every week the Hub will have available a representative from Walton Parish Nursing and CAP so that you can talk to them in confidence about health or money concerns in a separate area.
What about the Pop Up Shop?
The Pop-up Shop runs from the Hub every Tuesday between 11am and 12noon.
Sunday Worship
Every Sunday at 11am, relaxed, informal worship with refreshments.
The parish of Walton is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of St. Edmundsbury & Ipswich’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
