North Bosmere Benefice

We are a Benefice of 8 Parishes encompassing ten rural villages in Mid Suffolk about  an hour from the coast.

There are services in several churches each Sunday, but not all of them. This week's services can be found on the North Bosmere Weekly Notice sheet. The Rota of Services shows all the services in the eight churches this month.

We are currently without a Rector as our previous one has retired, but the Ministry Team and Churchwardens are working hard to ensure all our churches are open and welcoming for everyone.

If you (or someone you know) would find the prospect of leading our friendly and hardworking Ministry team, Churchwardens and PCCs we would welcome your interest. Please get in touch!!

Our churches

Safeguarding

Our Benefice of North Bosmere is committed to safeguarding children, young people, and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and each Parish has its own Safeguarding Officer. Their details can be found on the notice board inside the church. Our Diocese of St. Edmundsbury & Ipswich’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Officer who advises our parish Safeguarding Officer. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm, please contact the Parish Safeguarding Officer for the appropriate Parish or the Diocesan Safeguarding Officer, Karen Galloway 07785 621319 or [email protected] If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.

Further information can be found on the diocesan website Promoting a safer church - Diocese of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich.
