Rev Peter Thorn, our Priest-in-Charge for 6 years from 2009, sadly died in hospital following an operation at the beginning of February. During his time here Peter worked hard to establish groups in the Benefice to serve the wider community under the "4-Communities Action Group". Rev Peter left here in 2015 to semi-retire to a house-for-duty post in the Manchester Diocese where he could devote more time to his love of art and photography. Many residents of our parishes will grateful for Peter's ministry here and have fond memories of him. Please remember Peter's family and friends in your prayers.
