There are six churches in the Welwyn Team but only five parishes. The parishes are:- Welwyn & Woolmer Green, Ayot St Peter, Codicote, Datchworth and Tewin.

The parish of Welwyn & Woolmer Green is served by St. Mary’s Church in Welwyn village and the church of St. Michael and All Angels in the village of Woolmer Green.
