St Owen's celebrated Harvest on 6th Oct in a very different way. The service was based around the reading from John 6:35: Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst."
There were prayer stations around the church for each of the ingredients in bread, and we were challenged to think about the 'ingredients' of our faith.
A collection was made for the Bedford Foodbank and also for the Bishop's Harvest Appeal for the Leprosy Mission.
The service was well received, it is always good to try something new!
