About Us

St Peter’s and St George’s are Anglican parish churches in the adjacent villages of Ightham and Wrotham, Kent. They are primarily rural and the churches provide focal points for various community activities. St Peter’s is a 900 year old Church with a modern Church Centre and St George’s dates from the late 11th century. The buildings are in use many days and evenings of the week and for a range of activities. On 29 May 2022, we combined from separate parishes into a United Benefice, whilst still remaining as 2 parishes. At present our ministry team consists of two incumbents, Lay Readers and Churchwardens. The two Rectors will reduce to one from 1st October 2023 when Wrotham's retires.
