For those of you who were unable to attend Snowdrop Festival at All Saints, Dunsden – 40 people attended the Special Snowdrop Service in the morning. This service was led by Rosemary and included eight readers of poetry and psalms.
From 12.30 onwards some 400 visitors came to view the snowdrops and enjoy the afternoon of entertainment. Refreshments led by Yvonne, were provided all afternoon with an amazing array of cakes all donated by members of All Saints Congregation.
A range of entertainment organised by John included a talk by Reading Beekeepers Association, a talk on the Wilfred Owen window and a talk on the Snowdrop by Linda. Other entertainments were provided by musicians and speakers. The secret surprise was two gentlemen riding into the Church on Penny Farthings bikes after which they gave a fascinating talk.
The afternoon raised in excess of £1,000 towards the church extension fund.
