About Us

The Ray Valley Benefice comprises a cluster of 8 parish churches which lie between Oxford and Bicester and flanks Otmoor, an area of Special Scientific Interest and home to an RSPB Nature Reserve at Beckley.

All of our churches are ancient, some of them dating back to the 11th century.

Our village communities bring together families who go back many generations and newcomers enjoying a traditional rural lifestyle.

Our congregations whilst small are warm, friendly and welcoming. We have regular Benefice-wide services and events.
