About Us

The four lovely churches and parishes of Adstock, Gawcott, Hillesden and Padbury make up the Lenborough Benefice.  They all have their own characteristics and work well together supporting each other.  It also has a thriving Church Primary School in Padbury.

The vicar left last November, to enjoy a well earned retirement so the Benefice is without its own priest. However, it is being really well supported by visiting clergy and it is lovely to get to know other priests.

We enter the vacancy with great optimism and hope to welcome newcomers to our congregations.  Attendance is small but the welcome is huge!
