Manchester Cathedral

A message from The Dean of Manchester, Rogers Govender:

"People visit Manchester Cathedral for all sorts of reasons. Some pop in out of curiosity. Others come as welcome tourists. Yet more are drawn by the many events held here: civic and church; musical, artistic, and educational; social and charitable. It is a very busy building. And then there are those who come to pray; whether privately, perhaps lighting a candle, or else as part of our worshipping community. These are the real mainstay of the place, but all alike are warmly welcome. Freely open to all, every day of the year, here is  an ancient house of the soul."
