The first Rossendale Benefice quarterly prayer meeting was held on Tuesday 4th July. The needs and activities of our own parish were raised in prayer at this meeting. Beyond our own parish, we have been asked to pray for or about the following :

 The community of Whitworth and the issues surrounding the announced closure of its local swimming pool.

 Holy Trinity church, Tunstead, which has now been listed as a “fragile” (at risk) church. Pray that it may see renewal and an increase in the size of the church family there.

 The clergy team, who are trying new initiatives to bring people to to know Jesus.
